Why Is Unlimited PC Play Limited To Only Old, Unpopular, and Low Rated Games?

I was about to cancel my account cause I no longer do console games when I read about Unlimited PC Play. At which I got rather excited until I saw the selections of games to chose from. So why are there no modern AAA games like Skyrim, A Game of Thrones, The Witcher 2. Heck we can't even get older popular games like Mass Effect 2 with Unlimited PC Play.

Anyone else finding Unlimited PC Play to be a joke as well?

It's a mixed bag. There's no way you're ever going to see brand new AAA titles on there, that would be a terrible business model. Think of it like Netflix streaming, you'll get a good title once in a while but most of the time they're going to be partnered with indie/smaller studios to promote their lesser known stuff. I'm having a blast with World of Goo and Saints Row 2.

  1. A service added at no extra cost is a joke to you? The games are old and low rated because it's free. If and when they add better games, it will cost extra. And no, I find people complaining about something free a joke.
