Anybody else having a bunch of problems with your Xbox 360?
Back in the day when I played Xbox constantly, I actually went through an Xbox once every two weeks or so. Not necessarily because of the Red Rings, but mostly due to the disc drive.
Fast forward to now, I barely ever get on Xbox. I honestly prefer to play on my PS3, but I have to get on my Xbox to Review certain games. Just within the last few months, two out of my three Xboxs have broke. The disc drives have a lot of difficulty reading discs, and sometimes won't read them at all.
I thought after going through 17 (yes, 17) broken consoles, i'd be out of the water. But clearly, Xbox 360s are still of low quality.
I'm down to one console that fully works.
So that said, any of you having similar problems? Is this my Xbox's revenge for switching to PS3??? D:

Cool story, bro! Why any fanboy would feel the need to come on here and attempt to pass this off as even remote truth is beyond comprehension and utter sadness.
I have to buy a new PS3 everyday because they break within 5 minutes of turning them on. Some of them I don't even get out of the box and they break. I've gone through 4,839 (yes, 4,839) broken consoles. But clearly, PlayStation 3s are still of low quality.
See what I did there?

I have had very little problems with my 360. One time it got the Red Rings, but that was my stupid fault. I put it in an enclosed environment, and you know the rest. During December, my Xbox's disc drive got stuck. But luckily with a paperclip and an online instruction guide, I fixed it.

17 consoles? Jeebus, I know those things are basically made from paper and balsa wood, but 17? Do you live near a constant EMP field, or possibly inside a nuclear reactor?
Either way, I've had 1 360 red ring. The one I have now was the one I got returned and it's worked well for about 3 years now. It's recently worked fine for everything I've done with it recently, but I'm not currently playing any retail games on it.

Nothing wrong with my XBox. I actually consider myself the luckiest kid ever. Not only have I gone 2 years with 1 mere XBox, but the thing survived 2 (count them: 2) near death experiences.
1 time I made a stupid move and unplug the XBox and plugged it back in too quickly. It got the red ring for about 2 seconds and vanished. That was the biggest relief ever. Maybe that happens often, but that was the first time I saw the red ring.
Now there was another time where I KNOW it should've been dead. My brother left the 360 on to go upstairs and never came back down. I come downstairs and see the red ring flashing due to heating. I was ready to destroy him severly but then the system turned back on. Now that was lucky right there.
So if anything, my 360 is a beast.

When I downloaded an update from Xbox Live , my Xbox freezed when I went to the Avatar Marketplace. Plus, every time I turn my Xbox on, it always takes 5-7 seconds to load to Xbox Home. That is a WHOLE lot of time .

My personal experience: I have had 2 xbox 360's. Both died in about 3 months. I switched to ps3. Problem solved for over 3 years now. Sure it freezes sometimes, but whatever. I have never had to replace the console or anything for it.

I have no problems since I threw XBOX 360 #4 in the trash can. It seemed to really be "the final solution" to me. :]
