Xbox keeps overheating.....help?

i have an intercooler(the one with its own ower supply so it doesnt harm the xbox) it keeps getting 2 red rings im thinking because its winter my house is really warm so thats why it never acted up like this.It started around winter time. WAT DO?

  1. your xbox my keep over heating becuse you use it to much.when it over heats gust turn it off then a few hours later then turn it on.

  2. the intercooler isn't supposed to replace the main fans so if you're fans crapped out, the intercooler isnt't gonna do much. You can try moving it to a more ventilated location if it's not in the most ideal spot already. If it keeps red ringing, it might just need to be repaired. Sorry if that's not the answer you wanted to hear :/

  3. That's odd,I keep my xbox right next to an oven that is used frequently during the day and it works fine lol

  4. My advice is Take off the intercooler. I had a friend who used the intercooler and it caused his 360 to red ring all the time too, but once he took it off it was fine. Just keep your xbox 360 in a well ventilated area and occasionally make sure the vents are filling up with dust or anything like that and you should be fine.
