If I have a $5 gamefly coupon, is it possible to get a game for free if it's worth less than $5 due to a sale?

It can only be used towards a used game, and not many used games get sales. But if you find a used game worth $5. Then I am pretty sure the coupon would make it free.

  1. I'm not so sure. It depends if it is a coupon, or a gift certificate. coupons usually can't make things free, but coupons also are usually for a specific item. In your situation, I think you have more of a gift certificate, so yes, if you can find a $5 game, you should be able to purchase it with said coupon/certificate.
