i have played a game called runescape on the computer and loved it is skyrim anything like this game?

if you dont know what runescape is... it has where you can be a ranger with bow and arrows, you can fish and cook food like lobster and swordfish, you can smith armor, you can craft clothes and jewelry

You can do a lot of the same things in Skyrim. Though there are some big differences, the biggest being that Skyrim is only a single player game.

  1. In Skyrim you can do most those activities but they are side things compared to adventuring. You can use bow if you want. The variety in the combat system means its not ideal for every situation though. If you stick with a single play style most likely you will have to exploit the system to get passed some of the harder fights, especially when you have a low level character.

    If your interested in Skyrim the best approach is not to enter the world looking for predefined things you like to do. But instead allow the game to show you what it has to offer. You can define game mechanics, but the draw of this game is the immersive experience which is different to every player and therefore can't be defined.
