Which game should I buy: Arkham City or Uncharted 3?

Why not both? If you have the money just get both. But if I could only get 1 I would choose Batman. They are 2 completely different action adventure games, but Batman has a more deep story and an amazing combat system. So go with Batman. But like I said. You have the money, then just get both.

  1. It depends on what kind of game you want. Uncharted 3 is very linear and only a little over 8 hours but has a very strong narrative and many memorable action set pieces. Arkham City on the other hand may not have as strong writing but it has a lot more to do with various side missions and collectibles.

  4. Arkham City will be beatin in a week (thats an over estimate) but you will love the story if you're a fan at all of DC Comics. Uncharted 3, however, will be the most epic chapter to Drake's story. Sounds like you need to flip a coin.

  5. thegamegenie is wrong about arkham city's writing, the story is the best ive seen out of a game in a long time. the graphics are fantastic and the controls are easy to master and you will be playing like a pro in no time. the side missions are well developed and sometimes have unexpected endings. the riddler trophies and challenges will keep you busy for hours and you never see the same setup twice. the actual riddles are tuff and force you to think deep and study the area. so definately arkham city

  6. I own both of these games myself and I have to say that their both amazing. However, even though Uncharted 3 is extremely entertaining and the graphics are so technologically advanced for our console period, it's story will not last you long. I've beaten the game on Charted! mode easily and right now I'm just looking for treasures to complete the trophies. I would say rent Uncharted 3 because it will last you about a few weeks at most unless you're hooked on the multiplayer. Buy Arkham City...many hours of gameplay and challenges/side missions to keep you busy well into the upcoming months and dislocating some bad guys' elbow is always fun...especially if you're the Batman!

  7. I would get Arkham City,because there is more variety unlike Uncharted,which doesn't free roam.

    I've played both and enjoyed them both.Overall Batman is the way to go by far.
